recorded 14 November 1992 at The Werkhaus, Krefeld by Stefan
apart from “goldfish bowl” which was recorded 15 November 1992 at The Loft in Cologne by Ansgar Ballhorn

“intro”, “windswept”, “rectumectomy [short reprise]” were also recorded live at the same date in Cologne and are previously unreleased

Bark! began thirty years ago, in late 1991, so it seems appropriate to finally get this music out into the wider world - in a form we hadn’t anticipated way back then.
Bark! had three different line-ups between 1991 and 1997 - before the current long-lasting one of Paul Obermayer (electronics) Rex Casswell (guitar) and Phillip Marks (percussion).
These three volumes of reissues contain music that even at the time barely saw the light of day - along with other previously unreleased recordings heard for the first time in over 25 years

Very interesting soundscape. I imagine the gentle clanging of Tibetan water bowls, water droplet sounds in reverse and the intermittent foghorn. Richard Erickson
