I am interested in the intersections of knowledge, developing research into sound art and technology, digital art, audiovisual and educational projects, performances and art installations.
My practice also includes the construction and creation of electronic instruments and objects.

"vento abstrato pregnante captado pelas anteras da flora
gineceu e seu estigma androceu no nectário"

"I explore the intersection of poetry with sound: the voice, speech, my violin, everyday sounds and electronically manipulated sounds. I Also outline the gesture of voice as a sound machine and thus, a poetic utterance full of layers: the voices of meaning, sound, internal state, the speech act, the scene […] What word is that? What sound is this? What space does the word occupy in sound? What time does sound move in the word? What voice is that? What voices are these? How to shake the poem in sound and vice versa. See-listen: Mus-verse"

02 VASA-3 - microphones and vessels
recorded 07 November 2021 by Thiago Nassif in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (first mix by Thiago Nassif and ambisonics mix by bella)
VASA is a video performance in which I amplify the empty spaces of different shapes of pots and vessels: "The object contains gove (soul). Life is not contained. Therefore, the dust of the dead inside a vase is then blown out. Life is returned to the ashes. Here, what is contained is sound. And it leaks out. With its microphonies, and displacements in the air, sound is leaking its life, its form is not contained, and it disperses, amplifies. Sound as living matter"

03 Fogueira - electronics, a metal vessel, a speaker, lights
recorded 30 May 2021 by Thiago Nassif in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
first mix by Thiago Nassif and ambisonics mix by bella
"Fogueira is a video performance, in which I play my own handmade photosensitive instruments with different types of lights. These blue and red lights, throughout the performance, form a fire pit"
an edited version of the live action (presented as an online live stream 08 July 2021)
