was entranced by its experimental
and minimal nature.
When I listened again, I felt transported back to an ancient
past, where the use of ritualistic sound & wood instruments was still in its infancy.
For me, this album is very elemental, it's of wind, air & breath.
I really love it and have been listening to it regularly, especially at night!
Favorite track: stein.

acmochi Gobi Drab is a composer. She is also a poser, not to be confused with the juvenile insult "poseur". She strikes a few interesting poses in the promotional material for this recording. Her music has struck a chord in my arteries. If you have veins and/or arteries, and if you sometimes enjoy the feeling of blood pumping through them, then I recommend purchasing this recording and dancing erratically to the fourth track in the middle of a supermarket. It makes for an excellent cardio routine 😎👌👌 Favorite track: glas.

Gobi Drab recorders

Gobi Drab is a recorder player, composer and performer.
She studied recorder in Vienna, Copenhagen and Lausanne and since then has specialised in contemporary music and free improvisation.

Gobi is the artistic director of the concert series Neue Musik in St. Ruprecht

and is a member of PLENUM – a paetzold recorder ensemble
