about

Adam Bohman prepared strings and objects
Mark Browne soprano and C melody saxophones
Lol Coxhill soprano saxophone
Trevor Davis trumpet
Steve Nash percussion

"This one brought back a huge number of memories.
A very foggy journey from the Polar Bear Club in Vauxhall to Aylesbury. Lol wearing a paint spattered green Bus Drivers jacket and carrying an empty rum bottle for effect.
A large audience filling the church despite very little publicity.
I had met with a local journalist who was to write a piece about the concert by way of publicity.
He wrote very little, turned up on the night and said he'd review the concert ready for the next event the following week (Martin Klapper and others).
He didn't write the review, so I phoned him.
He said he had no words for it.
He thought it a joke.
I explained that it wasn't helpful for the next concert that now had no publicity.
If he thought it a joke, he should have stated it in print.
He put the phone down and a friend, who worked at the Bucks Herald, told me that he left instructions that if I ever called again, I was not to be put through to his extension." [Mark Browne]
