If you ask Ruryk he'll probably tell you he's been attempting the same piece of music for the past 30 yrs, each time exposing a different detail, or an alternate view, or just attempting to get it “right”.
Yup it all sounds the same cause it sorta is the same... he may also say it's all just the result of some weird sorta compulsive disorder thingy but who knows and who really cares??
Ruryk sprays notes rather than plays them, his shows are closer to battles than concerts, and hear he is paying debts one instalment at a time.
In his hands the guitar is even more useful than the microwave oven, floppier than bread etc. etc. harmonically broad, the time it took moves forward and swings back, pagers and cell phones, beepers and bee keepers it’s all there.................

It won the loudness war back in 98, louder equalled better, it was in-your-face fam, but this time recorded with the aid of errors and Guitar Hero III.
